Dear Folks and Colleagues,
Afghanistan has faced many ups and downs in a large part of its history. A geography where the effects of several decades of war have brought countless hardships, disasters and calamities to the country and its people. Although the result of several decades of devastating warfare has caused innumerable injuries to the people and body of the country in various fields such as peace, stability, economy, reconstruction, welfare, citizenship rights and freedoms, civility and modernization, but Afghans have suffered the most in the fields of education, health and welfare and social services.
However, in recent years, the international community and institutions in line with the people of Afghanistan, have made a lot of efforts and investments through Afghan Civil Society, NGOs, private and governmental sectors in various fields to improve the general condition of the Afghan people, which fortunately resulted in two literate, skilled and civilized generations, but getting out of the existing fragile status quo and moving towards a desired and stable status quo in accordance with the values of the country and the world, requires more collective, purposeful and planned works.
To do our part and responsibility, we along with a committed and dedicated team steps in to make efforts and work tirelessly with the international community and institutions, donors, NGOs, consultancies, professionals, technicians and different sections of our communities to contribute in rehabilitation of each sector affected.
The Afghanistan Rehabilitation and Growth Organization (ARGO), with a broad vision is committed to contribute in rehabilitation and development of the country through providing services in education, health, peace building, capacity building, women and youths empowerment, human rights, child protection, social and welfare, and environment protection strata. Serving our communities through ARGO is not only an honor, but also a responsibility. To do this cause, our commitment knows no boundaries. Together, alongside with our committed team and their efforts and perseverance, we move ahead to create hope and determination against challenges.
I urge each and every Afghan, especially youths and new generation to do their parts and join us in rehabilitating our beloved country and left behind a symbol of determination against harsh challenges. We work to reach to a developed and prosperous Afghanistan from different dimensions.
